Calculator inputs

Your age range, adult reference, type of day, conversion amount and container capacity are processed in your browser. Those values are not sent to a server, not written to cookies or local storage, and not added to the page URL. Reloading the page starts a new session. Nothing you enter into the calculator is measured or shared.

Website requests

The browser requests pages, fonts and other files from the site host. A hosting provider can receive ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and requested URL, when serving those files. Fonts are served from this site rather than requested from an external font service.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how pages are found and read. It loads a script from googletagmanager.com and sets its own cookies in your browser so that repeat visits can be recognised.

What it records: the pages you open, the site or search that referred you, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser characteristics. Enhanced measurement also records scrolling, clicks on links that leave the site, and file downloads.

What it does not record: anything you select in the calculator. Those values never leave your browser, so they cannot be part of the measurement. Google states that IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4.

Google processes this data under its own terms. You can prevent the collection with a browser or extension that blocks trackers, including Google’s own opt-out add-on.

Advertising

There are no advertising scripts on this site at present. If advertising is introduced, this notice will be updated before it appears, as it was for analytics.

Following a research link takes you to another website, whose own privacy practices apply. Your calculator selections are not sent with those links.
